Pte Frank Rance (Wandin), 5th Battalion: Is admitted to the Lewes Detention Barracks to serve out a sentence of twelve months’ detention. He had been court martialled and sentenced by a Court of Enquiry for being absent without leave between October 1918 until when he was apprehended in April 1919. Originally from England, he had been hiding out with family and friends. The unexpired portion of his sentence was remitted in October 1919 and he was sent back to Australia to be discharged.

Sgt Charles Stanbury MM (Lilydale), 8th Light Horse Regiment: Arrives back in Australia from the Middle East on the HT Dunluce Castle.
