Pte Harold Dozell (Lilydale), 59th Battalion: Is tried by a District Court Martial on a charge of ‘when on active service in France, deserting His Majesty’s Service’. He was absent without leave from June 7th, 1918 until surrendering to the Military Police, in London, August 15th, 1919. He is awarded eighteen months imprisonment with hard labour and marched out to Pentonville Prison.
