Pte Edwin Meade (Mooroolbark), 8^th Battalion: He has spent the last six months in Australia recovering from enteric fever after contracting it at Gallipoli.

Pte William Barker (Olinda), 22^nd Battalion

Pte Robert Lawlor (Coldstream), 22^nd Battalion

Ernest James (Gruyere): Leaves his parent’s property at Gruyere and enlists in the AIF, he is 22 years old.
