The following local soldiers arrive back in Australia from Europe on the HMAT Runic:

Trp Rae Lucke (Montrose), 13^th Light Horse Regiment

Pte Lindsay Yeaman (Montrose), 20^th Battalion: He is to be discharged as medically unfit due to the effects of gas poisoning.

Dvr Reginald Summers (Seville), 6^th Field Artillery Brigade: He would return to Seville and take over his brother Walter’s property, ‘Mt Marion’, after his brother was killed in action during the war.
