Pte Leslie Gamble (Lilydale), 2^nd Divisional Ammunition Column: A Court of Enquiry is held where he is charged with – 1. When on active service being drunk in the field and 2. When on active service using insubordinate language to his superior officer in that he said ‘go and get fucked, I will not go out’. He is found guilty and sentenced to six months hard labour.
