Pte Edwin Hill (Gruyere), 7^th Battalion: After being admitted to hospital in France a few weeks earlier suffering from measles, his condition develops into broncho pneumonia and he passes away. He is 19 years old and is buried at the Longuenesse Souvenir Cemetery, France.
