Lt Alfred Eades (Montrose), 12^th Field Artillery Brigade: While on leave in England he is struck down with influenza and admitted to hospital. He dies here, just a day after the Armistice was signed, he is 22 years old and is buried at the Brookwood Cemetery in England.
