Spr Harry Linacre (Seville), 14^th Field Company Engineers: Is severely wounded in action with multiple shrapnel wounds and is evacuated from the field by the 15^th Field Ambulance but dies soon after. He is 26 years old and is buried at the Menin Road South Military Cemetery in Ypres, Belgium. His personal possessions would later be sent to his fiancée Elsie Mitchell of Seville.
