Pte Richard Plummer (Olinda), 21^st Battalion: Is wounded in action, bullet wound to the eye, and is evacuated from Anzac Cove to hospital in Egypt.

Pte Frederick Davies (Kilsyth), 8^th Battalion: Is evacuated from Anzac Cove and eventually to hospital in England suffering from acute gastritis.

Pte Harry Stevens (Seville), 8^th Battalion: Is evacuated from Anzac Cove to Lemnos suffering from dysentery. He would later be sent to hospital in England where he is diagnosed with rheumatism and would return to Australia six months later to be discharged as medically unfit.

Pte James Reade (Yering) & Pte Frank Foster (Montrose), both 24^th Battalion: Land at Anzac Cove and are moved up into the front lines with their regiment.

Cpl Stanley Nicholas (Lilydale), 5^th Light Horse Regiment: Re-joins his unit at Anzac Cove from hospital on Lemnos Island.
